As Barack Obama faces his sternest test since coming to power two years ago, Sky News’ Jeremy Thompson, will be presenting live coverage of the mid-terms from Sacramento and San Francisco, California.

Sky News Political Editor Adam Boulton will be on location in Washington DC, with analysis and live interviews on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. (1, 2, 3 November).

There will be a results night special from midnight on Wednesday morning anchored by Presenter Andrew Wilson in the Sky News Centre in London and Adam Boulton in Washington DC.  As the live results come in, there will be analysis from high powered guests on both sides of the Atlantic.

Skynews.com will also be updating webuser’s live online, using dynamic graphics which will be reflected on the channel.  There will be added value for Sky News HD viewers who will see in-depth information including an updating live results map and reaction from guests on the side panels.

As Americans prepare to deliver their verdict on President Obama, there will be a special edition of Sunday Live with Adam Boulton from Washington DC on Sunday afternoon between 1400 – 1500 which will look ahead to Tuesday’s elections.
