Last week, Brian Williams anchored Nightly News from New Orleans beginning Thursday, reporting on the progress five years after Hurricane Katrina struck the region. Season-to-date, Nightly leads World News by +1.003 million total viewers.
Last week, Nightly also led in the key demo adults 25-54. Nightly delivered a 1.6 rating A25-54, ahead of World News’ 1.4 and Evening News’ 1.2. With 1.989 million A25-54 (000) viewers last week, the newscast beat World News by +277,000 viewers. Season-to-date, Nightly leads World News by +429,000 A25-54 viewers.
