Brian Williams to Interview President Obama in New Orleans Five Years After Katrina

In an exclusive television interview, NBC News’ Brian Williams will interview President Barack Obama in New Orleans exactly five years after Hurricane Katrina made landfall in the gulf region. The interview will air beginning Sunday, August 29 on “NBC Nightly News.” 

In addition to anchoring “Nightly News” from New Orleans August 26, 27, 29 and 30, Brian Williams will moderate a special edition of “Meet the Press” near Jackson Square on Sunday, August 29.
