France 24 Launches on Time Warner Cable

France 24 has signed a new distribution agreement in the United States with Time Warner Cable, allowing France 24, English version, to be available 24/7 throughout the New York Metropolitan area (Tri-State Area). 

With 1.5 million subscribers throughout the Tri-State Area, Time Warner Cable now distributes France 24 English version in its basic package on channel 501.

Out-of-home broadcasting of France 24 will also strongly benefit from this agreement and will allow France 24 to strengthen its presence in many hotels and strategic sites in the New York area (companies, national and international institutions, etc.)

This launch on Time Warner is not only a source of great satisfaction, it is also extremely symbolic, showing that the channel has proven its capacity to attract and interest the North American audience.”

France 24 continues to expand its distribution in the USA and its penetration rate increased by 50% during the first semester of 2011.

France 24 is available in the United States 24/7:

- in its French & English versions on DISH World, channels 660 and 665 respectively, available all over the territory

- in its English version on RCN, Comcast, Cox and FiOS TV in Washington D.C.

- in its English version on RCN in Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia and Boston
