France 24 Launches Android App

France 24 has launched a new Android application which is completely free and available in English and French. 

The new application gives full access to all France 24 programs live or in VoD and allows the viewers to replay all of the broadcasts over the last two months.

In addition, an innovative mapping tool allows users to find news according to their location thanks to France 24’s automatic and geographical referencing of news articles.

Following the classification of the France 24 website, the articles and all the videos are also available by geographical zone (France, Africa, Middle-East, Europe, the Americas, Pacific Asia) or by category (Sports, Culture, Health, Economy and Technology, Ecology, News Reports, Weather).

Thanks to the “The Observers” tool, the users can also directly interact with the editors of the channel by sending in their own photos and videos, therefore contributing to the latest news.
