In March 2011, France24.com hit a new record audience with 14 million visits, some 59 million pages viewed and around 5 million videos watched across its 3 language versions, confirming strong interest in international news coverage, in particular for the political crisis in Libya and Ivory Coast and the Fukushima catastrophe in Japan.
Since the beginning of the year, the site has been in constant progression and in March recorded some 3.5 million additional visits compared to January 2011.
Whilst the audiences of all three versions of France24.com (French, English, Arabic) have increased, it is the English version which has met with the fastest growth, showing an increase of nearly 64% in its traffic, thanks notably to France24.com articles that have been referenced by major international platforms, such as the American news website Drudge Report.
France24.com generates 77% of its audience outside of France and is one of the most international websites in its category.
