Fox News Dominates State of the Union CoverageFox News Channel was the dominant news network in cable last night during President Obama’s second State of the Union Address. 

FNC averaged 5 million viewers for the address, beating all cable news nets in every category.  All ratings are according to Nielsen Media Research.

2011 SOTU SPEECH RATINGS:

FNC: 4,960,000 in P2+ (1,634,000 in 25-54)

CNN: 2,984,000 in P2+ (1,200,000 in 25-54)

MSNBC: 2,504,000 in P2+ (836,000 in 25-54)

2011 POST-SPEECH ANALYSIS:

FNC: 5,444,000 in P2+ (1,756,000 in 25-54)

CNN: 3,010,000 in P2+ (1,230,000 in 25-54)

MSNBC: 2,357,000 in P2+ (739,000 in 25-54)
