C-Span has recieved a wave of interest in its televised session today between President Obama and Congressional Republicans. In response, C-Span said that a replay of the session will air in prime time this evening.
The New York Times' Brian Stelter wrote;
The non-commercial cable channel also hinted that it wanted to suggest more televised exchanges in the future.
The session in Baltimore on Friday “resembled the British custom where a prime minister responds to questions in Parliament,” Peter Baker and Carl Hulse reported.
Televised by cable news channels and C-SPAN on Friday, the question-and-answer session was a vivid display of democracy.
