About CNN en Español

CNN en Español is CNN's all Spanish News channel.

On March 17, 1997, CNN launched CNN en Español, a 24-hour Spanish-language news network for the Latin American marketplace. Marking the first time CNN independently produces a 24-hour network in a language other than English, CNN en Español provides continuous news reports of major world events, live breaking coverage supported by in-depth analysis, worldwide business and financial news, global weather updates, sports and features, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

2010 Relaunch

CNN en Español refreshed its on air image in 2010, moving it more in-line with it's US and International counterparts.  As part of the relaunch, new presenters and programming was introduced.
