Rishaad Salamat

Rishaad Salamat is an anchor for Bloomberg Television.

Based in Hong Kong, Salamat hosts “On the Move Asia” a weekday business program offering in-depth coverage of market openings in Asia as well as global political, business and economic stories.

Salamat is one of the longest-serving hosts on Bloomberg Television, having joined Bloomberg Television's London bureau in 1997.

Throughout his career at Bloomberg, Salamat has interviewed numerous global business, economic and political leaders including Aviva CEO Andrew Moss, former General Motors President and CEO Fritz Henderson, Compass CEO Richard Cousins, Barclays PLC President Bob Diamond and InterContinental Hotels Group CEO Andrew Cosslett.

Salamat has also covered major international events for Bloomberg Television, including the Geneva Auto Show, and chaired panels with former U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Professor Joseph Stiglitz.
