Bestselling author, and former Managing Director of JPMorgan Chase, Willam Cohan has joined Bloomberg Television. He will take up his post as a contributing editor focusing on mergers, acquisitions, bankrupcy and private equity, next Monday. David Rhodes, head of Bloomberg Television said in a statement that Cohen will 'provide analysis on the financial issues of the day.'
Cohen has authored two bestselling books, "House of Cards: A Tale of Hubris and Wretched Excess on Wall Street" and also "The Last Tycoons: The Secret History of Lazard Freres & Co." The latter subsequently won the 2007 FT/Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year.
Cohan spent six years at Lazard Freres, the focus of his bestselling book, in New York prior to joining JPMorgan Chase. He has a master's of science from Columbia University's Graduate School of Jornalism and an MBA from its Graduate School of Business. He is also a contributing editor of Fortune magazine and his expertise have been printed in the Financial Times, New York Times and the Washington Post.
