Suzanne O'Halloran

Suzanne O’Halloran is a markets reporter for Bloomberg Television.

Based in New York, O'Halloran covers corporate earnings, economic reports and mergers and acquisitions.

O’Halloran has reported extensively on the activities of the Federal Reserve and the SEC. She covered the flash crash of May 6th, 2010 and was the first television reporter to interview the Regional Director of the SEC’s New York Office George Canellos.

Since joining Bloomberg Television in 2000, O'Halloran has also covered breaking news and trading activity from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Marketsite. She has interviewed and profiled well-known business leaders including PepsiCo Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi and AOL Chairman and CEO Tim Armstrong. O'Halloran has also contributed to Bloomberg Businessweek.

Prior to joining Bloomberg Television, O'Halloran worked as a producer at CNBC. Earlier, she was part of the equity analyst team at UBS, specializing in media and energy stocks.

O'Halloran was a team recipient of the Detroit Press Club Foundation's Golden Wheel Award for the story "GM: Retooling an American Icon." She has also been short-listed as one of the most influential Irish Americans on Wall Street by Irish America Magazine.

O'Halloran is a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in communication.
