Margaret Conley, formerly a Tokyo correspondent for U.S.-based ABC News, has joined Bloomberg Television as a reporter based out of the company’s new Shanghai bureau.
Conley will cover business and political news and conduct interviews with newsmakers across the Asia-Pacific region for Bloomberg’s global television network.
Prior to joining Bloomberg in September 2010, Conley served as a reporter for ABC News in Tokyo, appearing across ABC News' broadcast, radio and digital media platforms. Conley also reported for ABC News from Indonesia, contributing to the networks' 2008 election coverage and 2009 Emmy Award-winning inauguration coverage from President Obama's childhood hometown of Jakarta.
Bloomberg Television, currently available in more than 245 million homes globally, provides continuous 24-hour coverage of the latest and most comprehensive news and headlines for business leaders around the world. Bloomberg L.P., the parent company of Bloomberg Television, recently announced the expansion of its Chinese-language financial news service. The company also doubled the number of staff in China and moved into new and expanded office space in Beijing and Shanghai.
