Bloomberg Debuts New Special - Betty Liu 'On the Road'

Bloomberg Television's normal morning news anchor, Betty Liu is fronting a new special programme called "On the Road with Betty Liu" as part of the business network's normal morning schedule between 8am and 10am ET.  The programme will see the presenter broadcast during her normal 'on air' hours, but live on location in cities across the United States.  The shows, which are billed to be broadcast once a month, started yesterday in Atlanta, broadcast from the headquarters of Invesco.

It is understood that that the cities already confirmed for next year are Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Houston with more to be announced soon.

Liu broadcasts the countdown to the opening of the markets in New York on Bloomberg Television every weekday morning.  Prior to joining Bloomberg Television, she was an anchor and correspondent for CNBC Asia, covering the daily market action in the Greater China region for all of CNBC's morning shows, including for CNBC's Squawk Box.  Over the course of her career, she has also written for The Wall Street Journal, Far Eastern Economic Review, and Philadelphia Magazine.
