Coco Quisumbing was an anchor on Asia Business News, who moved to CNBC Asia during the transition following the merger between the two channels.  Since then they have worked for a television show called "Newswatch" on a channel in the Phillipenes, and now is believed to work in the private sector.

Karen Koh used to present programmes on Asia Business News prior to its merger with CNBC Asia, and made the transition to the newly formed business news operation.  She left shortly after, freelancing within the industry, with appearances on networks such as CNN International.

Karen now runs a successful company in Hong Kong called Intermedia.

Lynette Lithgow was a presenter for Asia Business News prior to its merger with CNBC Asia.  She made the move to the newly merged network where she continued in her role as presenter.  Prior to presenting for ABN and CNBC Asia, she presented in the UK on BBC's East Midlands Today. Sadly, Lynette passed away in December 2001, in Port Au Prince, Trinidad.

Martin Soong is one of Asia's best-known business television journalists. He is a co-anchor on CNBC's trademark morning program "Squawk Box (Asia)," which focuses on what viewers need to know after the markets close in the U.S. and before the markets open in Asia.

Based in the network's regional headquarters in Singapore, Soong was part of the team that launched Asia Business News in 1993 (prior to the channel's merger with CNBC in 1997). During his distinguished tenure, Martin has anchored almost all of CNBC's flagship business shows.

Award-winning broadcast journalist Sydnie Kohara brings years of experience to her position as co-anchor of the CBS 5 Eyewitness News Early Edition, seen weekday mornings from 5-7am.

Kohara has lived all over the world she covers. She served as CNBC's international correspondent based out of NBC's London bureau, reporting on overseas financial markets. From Tokyo and Hong Kong to Frankfurt, Paris and London, Kohara provided the latest market news and information on Asian and European corporations for CNBC's "Today's Business", "Squawk Box" and "Market Watch". She also filed daily reports for NBC's "Early Today" and appeared on MSNBC, as well as WNBC in New York City and other NBC affiliates nationwide.
