ABC News Digital Teams Up with Facebook for Katrina Anniversary Coverage

As part of the ABC television network’s coverage of the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, ABC News Digital will partner with Facebook to live stream a special program on Friday, August 27 at 12:30 pm ET. The live stream will be simulcast on ABCNEWS.com, the network’s digital channel, ABC News NOW and the ABC News Facebook page [www.facebook.com/abcnews].

The twenty-two minute program will be co-anchored by ABC’s David Muir in New York, Bob Woodruff from New Orleans, where he reported during the immediate aftermath of the hurricane, and “Good Morning America” anchor and native of Pass Christian, Mississippi, Robin Roberts, from Mississippi.  In addition the special will include live reports from Facebook’s Randi Zuckerberg from the company’s headquarters in California.
